I just can’t get over how wonderful Sam Cooke is.
A friend, who listens to too much mopey music, recently asked me for suggestions of good music specifically from the 60’s and 70’s.
“Something upbeat but good”, he said.
My response, “To begin with, start with everything Sam Cooke ever recorded.”

moonrise kingdom as a fantasy adventure !! this was for one of my finals where i redesigned suzy as a magic princess escaped from an oppressive kingdom and sam as an orphaned vagabond who traverse the land to find the legendary moonrise kingdom where they can live peacefully together ~
they’re a little bit older, but i still tried to maintain the innocence of the real movie!oh man oh man so good
